Video artist and filmmaker Katy Connor and sound artist Helena Gough have worked collaboratively over the last two years toward the production of new work integrating moving image and sound with equal importance. They have participated in both VIVID's ISP and haus_guest international schemes.

For ISP Connor and Gough have developed preliminary research towards a new single screen piece. Taking Birmingham's 'Spaghetti Junction' as its starting point, the work reinterprets the industrial and technological as organic. Sounds and images become motifs to be manipulated rhythmically and texturally; form is created from moment to moment.
